[edit] My Talk
Hi there! You recently posted a question to me, and you accidentally posted it to one of my archive pages. [1]. You'll want to use my actual Talk Page instead, the Archive is where I move old discussions that are no longer active. I'm going to move the comment to my actual Talk page, and feel free to keep in touch if you have any more questions! Best regards, Ëvilphoenix Burn! 01:34, 9 December 2005 (UTC)
- Well, the link you sent me to isn't actually a User page, nor has it ever been one, nor is it an actual registered Username. Are you sure that's the correct link? Best regards, Ëvilphoenix Burn! 01:40, 9 December 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Pushback
Thanks for doing the translation of the article. I tried to copyedit the style of the article, so have a look. PeepP 21:50, 12 December 2005 (UTC)
- I saw that. The only thing I wasn't sure of is that Nose in Nose Gear Wheel shouldn't link to Nose Cone. JanesDaddy 23:55, 12 December 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Overnightscape
I have deleted it as reposted content. Articles suspected to be a duplication of content already properly deleted should be tagged as {{db-repost}} (see the template). An admin will verify that it is the same content and typically deleted. Extreme cases of chronic re-posting call for the use of {{deletedpage}}. — FREAK OF NURxTURE (TALK) 23:22, Dec. 23, 2005
[edit] Flags
I don't mind my trouble - but I think its better to have flag designs on pages - this is customary on pretty much every flag page, even the ones its easy to take pictures of like Flag of the United States. Photographs of actual flags in use are of course useful additions though. Morwen - Talk 15:32, 29 December 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Looking for articles to work on?
Hello, JanesDaddy. I'm SuggestBot, a Wikipedia bot that helps new members contribute to Wikipedia. You might like to edit these articles I picked for you based on things you've edited in the past. Check it out -- I hope you find it useful. -- SuggestBot 15:17, 20 January 2006 (UTC)
Hi there, this is ForteTuba (SuggestBot's owner). I'm dropping a note to ask you how I might make it better. If you have any ideas, including but not limited to improving the suggestions, the way the suggestions are presented, and the way SuggestBot told you about the suggestions, that would be great. I want to release it as a general-purpose tool soon and the more feedback you can give, the better it will be. Thanks for the help. ForteTuba 20:10, 31 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Anneka_rice.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Anneka_rice.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).
The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}
.
Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me or ask for help at Wikipedia talk:Image copyright tags. Thank you. -- Carnildo 05:21, 5 February 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Reversion of Horseshoe
Hi. I reverted this - as well as other - article because the link added by the anonymous user was part of a volume spam, with links to different pages on the same website, as per WP:NOT. /M.O (u) (t) 17:23, 22 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Wrong Bobby Ball
Thanks. It found a wrong interwiki on it.wikipedia and synchronized all other wikis. I manually removed it now. --.anaconda 11:02, 27 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Horseshoe pit.jpg
Thank you for uploading Image:Horseshoe pit.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Shell babelfish 01:43, 26 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Disputed fair use rationale for Image:BeckyLyne Aug2006.jpg}
Thank you for uploading Image:BeckyLyne Aug2006.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this image under "fair use" may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the image description page and add or clarify the reason why the image qualifies for fair use. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check:
-
- That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's escription page for each article the image is used in.
- That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.
Please be aware that a fair use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for images used under the fair use policy require both a copyright tag and a fair use rationale.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it might be deleted by adminstrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page.
