[edit] Swift Tuttle Answer (Perseid Meteors)

From Talk:109P/Swift-Tuttle:

The dust particles hit Earth at "133,200 mph (60 kilometers per second) relative to the planet", according to Space.com. --1Winston 17:40, 17 July 2007 (UTC)

So, it's about twice the speed of the Earth relative to the sun. Now, I'd like to know whether the comet had the same speed. JanCK 23:50, 17 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] on my deletion of the tilzy.tv links

Hi JanCK -

Thanks for the response to my e-mail in regards to deleting www.tilzy.tv links in the "External Links - Resources" of Wikipedia entries. You mention the following:

"And I do expect there to be a lot of site like your's aggregating links to podcasts and texts on them. It might however be the case, that your sites provides more information than the usual site."

You're correct that there are a lot of sites aggregating links to podcasts, but these sites do not create their own, informed reviews of the shows. They simply include basic "about us" text descriptions that the show creators usually supply. There is limited information and virtually no editorial analysis or critique of the work.

I think for these reasons, the reviews on Tilzy.TV provide more info and are a good editorial supplement to the information provided in the Wikipedia listsings, and should be included in the "External Links - Resources" section of those pages.
