I received helpful criticism on the article I wrote several months ago on the Oregon Shakespeare Festival from Katr67. She moved two sections of the article and created separate articles on the Angus Bowmer Theatre and the Elizabethan Stage (Oregon Shakespeare Festival) because she felt the article on the Festival was too long. I've made many changes, condensing, adding references, cleaning up the language. After doing all that, I posted a notice on the talk page of both separated articles asking if anyone objected to my moving the two articles back into the original article on the Festival. I've received no negative response. I presume this means it's ok if I do this.

My problem is this. I read that only an administrator can delete an existing article, so can you give me advice on how I should incorporate the paragraphs now under Angus Bowmer Theatre and the Elizabethan Stage (Oregon Shakespeare Festival) into the article on Oregon Shakespeare Festival? Many thanks.

There is info about merging articles at Help:Merging and moving pages. If you search that page for 'R from merge' you will find a section where it talks about the type of merge you describe; rather than delete the articles you can change them to redirects.
