My view: you were a trailblazer along with numerous other gals - most of them less compelling - for 1980's porn. It was entirely a brown-sack / taboo industry back then, and I'm sure it took lots of guts to show your face in it.

While far more accepted and mainstreamed today, the genre is still not credited for it's real benefits to society; the breakdown of repressive Puritan religious indoctrinations, and the simple voyeuristic access it gives to millions with no chance to enjoy a beautiful female in their real lives.
