If anything, the primary topic for this page should probably be the Tarzan Jane, not the Orson Scott Card Jane. In any case, the need to generate a proper disambiguation page here is glaring. --Michael Snow 06:44, 8 Nov 2004 (UTC)

[edit] definition of jane

can we get the definition of jane? as in what the name really means? if no one who reads this and knows it posts, i will just look it up and add it in a few days--Elysianfields 07:56, 19 August 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Janel

Janel redirects here but is not mentioned on the page. The entry for Jan also lacks any connection to Jane. I assume Janel is either a Jane-of-god or variation... and I think Jan is as well, but then, I came here to find out. A bit more connection to John might be a good idea.

[edit] Plain Jane?

Is it just me, or does the name Jane somehow has a "plain" or "ordinary" connotation to it? (like Jane Eyre and such?)--cecikierk —Preceding comment was added at 23:18, 17 February 2008 (UTC)
