Arthur Nieuwenhuys

I apologize then. Just to clarify: You have permission from Jan Nieuwenhuys to license the images of his works under the GFDL?

I`am the son of Jan Nieuwenhuys and the beholder of all the copyrights on his work. I`am even the one that made the photographs of the work teh writer of the article what is your problem? Jan Nieuwenhuys in an inportant dutch painter and founder of the Cobra movement like Karel Appel who is better known in the world.

Please open up the page so that I can finish it and open it up to the public. I`am a big fan of this kind of online opurtunities to build together an encyclopedia I believe in the power of this kind of working together.

Beste regards

Arthur Nieuwenhuys

I again apologize. I just wanted to make sure you realized the implication of licensing under the GFDL. I have taken the liberty of restoring the article and 'wikifying' it a bit. The copyright procedure will run the full seven days, but there should be no problems there, since you have confirmed you own all the rights. Perhaps you could help clear up a small matter? The article about Constant is at Constant Nieuwenhuis. Since that is Jan's brother (and your uncle, I guess) I would think it should be Nieuwenhuys, right? Thanks and welcome to Wikipedia, Rasmus (talk) 12:41, 21 Sep 2004 (UTC).

You don`t have to apologize I understand compleetly your concern. Indeed the name is Nieuwenhuys I`am very sorry but I don,t know howe to change it and I`am afraid if I change it all the links to Constant will be messed up. In the Dutch version of wikipedia there is a link 'change titel' if you change it all the links in the whole system will be changed. Is there a link of this kind in the english version?

You can just use the 'move' button. It will automatically create a redirect at the old page. It is appreciated if you fix the pages, that link to the old page (press 'What links here'), but it will work even if you don't. I have moved Constants page. Rasmus (talk) 19:33, 21 Sep 2004 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:JanIndexFoto.jpg

Image:JanIndexFoto.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
