Jannis Kallinikos

Jannis (John) Kallinikos (Greek: Ιωάννης Καλλίνικος) is an organizational theorist and intellectual from Preveza, Greece. Kallinikos is currently professor of information systems at the Department of Management in London School of Economics.

After completing his undergraduate studies in Athens, Kallinikos moved to Uppsala, Sweden and enrolled at Uppsala University. At the university, he pursued doctoral studies in business. In 1984, Kallinikos was awarded his Ph.D from the Department of Business Studies of Uppsala University.

Jannis Kallinikos particularly focuses on the area of information technology and information systems and their implications within organizations and society as a whole.
Jannis Kallinikos is currently with the London School of Economics, where he works in research. He is also the head of the Ph.D program at this school. His most recent publication is "The Consequences Of Information: Institutional Implications of Technological Change". [1]
