Janine Mellor (born 3 May 1980 in Huddersfield) is an English actress. She is currently famous for playing Kelsey Phillips, in BBC One's BAFTA winning drama Casualty.

Her parents are John and Trish, and she has an older brother, Alex.

As a child Janine was schooled at Lepton County Primary School, King James's School at Almondbury and Greenhead College. Janine also also danced with the Kirkheaton-based Clare Doosey School of Dance. She studied at Queen Margaret University College in Edinburgh and graduated from there with an honours degree in acting.

Janine's TV credits include: Citizenship and Fat Friends. Her theatre credits include: The Seagull, Dancing at Lughnasa, Cider with Rose, The Censor, Into the Woods, and Spoonface Stienberg.
