Janice Turner is a columnist and feature writer for The Times. Previously she was a magazine editor for several women's titles. Subsequently she wrote a scurrilous column about magazines for UK Press Gazette. She was born in Doncaster, South Yorkshire, educated at University of Sussex and is married to Ben Preston, a former deputy editor of The Times with whom she has two sons.
