Jani Virtanen (born March 1, 1977, in Tampere, Finland), is a professional Finnish ice hockey player.
He is currently playing for the Hull Stingrays of the Elite Ice Hockey League. His former clubs are Tappara, Hermes, HPK, FPS, SaiPa, Espoo Blues (all in Finland), Färjestads BK (Sweden), Bakersfield Condors (ECHL), SG Brunico and SG Caldaro (Italy), Mulhouse (France), Malmö Redhawks (Sweden) and Esbjerg (Denmark).
