Janet Petersen is a US politician and is the Iowa State Representative from the 64th District. She has served in the Iowa House of Representatives since 2001. She received her BA from the University of Northern Iowa and her MA from Drake University.
Petersen currently serves on several committees in the Iowa House - the Administration and Rules committee; the Economic Growth committee; the Human Resources committee; and the Commerce committee, where she is chair.
Petersen was re-elected in 2006 with 8,561 votes, running unopposed. [1]
