Janet G. Travell

Janet Graeme Travell (December 17, 1901 - 1997) was an American physician.
She developed and popularized the diagnosis and treatment of myofascial pain syndrome secondary to trigger points.
She was also appointed the personal physician to President John F. Kennedy in 1961. She was the first female doctor to hold this position to a serving President of the United States.
