Jane Schaffer is an educator who lives in San Diego whom provides a number of curriculum guides and workshops for instructors in the subject of English composition that are used by a number of U.S. secondary schools. Opinions vary far from positive (it does not help those students who simply know how to organize an essay) and negative (it is contrived and limits the creativity of students who may be able to veer from the formula indeed).
