Jandhyala

Jandhyala (January 14, 1951 - June 19, 2001) was a Telugu film screenwriter. He also directed several films as well.
Jandhyala Veera Venkata Durga Siva Subramanya Sastry, populary known as Hasya Brahma Jandhyala, was born on the auspicious day of Makara Sankranti(January 14th) in 1951 at Narsapuram. He studied his B.Com in SRR & CVR College in Vijayawada.
He used to be a good playwright in his college days. His first play 'Ek Din Ka Sultan' became a pretty popular play. His last play is 'Gundelu Marchabadunu'. He entered the films as a songs writer though the film 'Punya Bhoomi Kallu Teru'. His first released film was K Vishwanath's 'Siri Siri Muvva'. He is a good dialogue writer who gave dialogues to the films like 'Shankara Bharanam'.
He turned into a director with the film 'Mudda Mandaram'. His last film was 'Vichitram', which is his 60th film. He introduced a plethora of comedy actors like Naresh, Brahmanandam, Suthivelu and Suthi Veera Bhadra Rao. His film with Usha Kiron movies 'Srivariki Premalekha' became an all time favorite comedy. His movie Ananda Bhairavi is a milestone in his career, and won uncountable no.of awards.
He directed several hits like Nalugu Sthambalata, Aaananda Bhaivari, Rendu Rellu Aaru, Aha Naa Pellanta, Vivaha Bhojanambu, Choopulu Kalasina Subhavela, Chantabbai, Amara Jeevi, Seeta Rama Kalyanam and Padamati Sandhya Ragam. He also acted in a film called 'Aapadhbandavudu' with Chiranjeevi as a father of the heroine. At the end of the film he is shown dying having dedicated all his works in a selfless way. In real life too, he passed away leaving behind him a legacy of excellent films. Besides he worked as a background dubbing speaker for few artists in telugu.
His most popular dialogue was (in Telugu), "Navvadam oka bhogam, Navvinchadam oka yogam, Navvalekapovadam oka rogam".
