Janar Talts (born April 7, 1983, Estonia, Estonian SSR, USSR is an Estonian professional basketball player. His professional career started in 2001, when he signed KML team TTÜ-A.Le Coq. For the next season he signed with the reigning Estonian champion Tallinna Kalev and won the national title in 2003. In 2004 Talts signed with Basketball Bundesliga team Köln 99ers. He won two German Cups and one Bundesliga title. In 2006/2007 season Talts played in Euroleague for the german squad. After three seasons in Germany he signed with the reigning Estonian champion Tartu Rock and won his second Estonian title. He also won the money prize for the Best Defensive Player in the finals. Janar Talts is a member of the Estonia national basketball team.
