Jan Rosenthal (born April 7, 1986) is a German footballer, currently with Bundesliga side Hannover 96. He is mostly employed as a right winger.
Rosenthal began his professional career with Hannover 96 in 2005, on a 5 year deal, but had to wait until August 13, 2006 before he made his first Bundesliga appearance, as a substitute, in a 2-4 defeat to Werder Bremen. His first Bundesliga goal came against Schalke 04 in the first game he started on October 21, 2006. He settled well into the team following this, and was regular choice throughout the 2006/07 season. This saw him linked to several other clubs, although he insisted he wanted to remain at Hannover [1].
He has also represented his country at both under-19 and under-21 level.
