Jan Rooney (born Janice Darlene Chamberlin) is the eighth and current wife of actor Mickey Rooney. They were married on 7 August 1978, when she was 39 and Mickey was 57, making theirs her husband's longest marriage; indeed, their thirty-year (as of 2008) union has lasted longer than all seven of Mickey Rooney's previous marriages combined.
Jan is a singer, and the mother of Chris Aber. She began appearing in television commercials for Garden State Life Insurance Company with her husband, Mickey Rooney, in 2004. Rooney has been a spokesperson for the company since 1999.
