Jan Jönsson (born 24 May 1960) is a Swedish football coach and former player. He spent his playing career with Halmstads BK.
Between 1993 and 1994 he was inaugurated as the Sanfrecce Hiroshima assistant coach with Stuart Baxter manager who became acquainted in Halmstads BK. Then, he is inaugurated as a coach with the Baxter even in Vissel Kobe.
After retiring he was appointed manager for Landskrona BoIS, who he took to the Swedish Premier League. In 2005 he took over Norwegian club Stabæk I.F. and led them to promotion in his first season.
