Jan Hudec (born August 19, 1981 in Sumperk, Czechoslovakia) is a Canadian alpine skier. On February 11, 2007, he won the silver medal in downhill at the 2007 World Championships in Åre, Sweden. In the November of the same year he won his first World cup victory, a downhill in Lake Louise. In January of 2008, he suffered a knee injury while training in Switzerland, thereby ending his World Cup Season. He currently is undergoing rehabilitation prior to the next competitive season.
