Jan Callewaert

Jan Callewaert (b. Wielsbeke, 1956) is a Belgian businessman. He is the general manager of Option N.V. (Leuven). In 2005, he was manager of the year in Belgium.

He obtained a Master in commercial sciences and a bachelor in philosophy at the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven

• 1980 - 1982: assistant at the VLEKHO in Brussels.
• 1982 - 1984: system engineer and later product manager at Bull.
• 1984 - 1986: Ericsson telecomunication
• Founded Option International in 1986 and starts the production of modems for laptops
