Once an article has been tagged AfD, it should not be removed until a vote has been concluded. I would advise you to politely inform the user that it is policy for a vote to take place once a user has tagged the page, and request that the user does not remove the tag again. I would then replace the tag and follow the guidelines for AfD. You can also inform the user that he/she can put an argument forward in support of the article on the voting page and vote (once only). But a small point re your comment to Phr33kuk. Removing a page by blanking it is not to be recommended. Depending on the history, blanking a page may merely result in its being restored by the vandalbot (or one of the bots that lurk here). {{db-author}} is the only one you should recommend. -- RHaworth 19:38, 15 May 2006 (UTC)

Darren@nocuffs‎ has created several articles which, given that he's a criminal defense lawyer, specializing in DUI and drug cases and that all of them end with "If you or a loved one was arrested for DUI, please contact a skilled defense lawyer immediately", reeks of advertising. Yes, I have also pointed him towards advice and policy with regard to creating good articles on Wikipedia. I notice that a slew of related articles in the same vein and style have issued forth from this user. I don't want to persecute the man by deleting all of them as contravention of policy. That sounds like they are just "general use" of the word, so in each article delink and (if needed) explain that, in this context, diaphragm means a divider - or just rewrite without the word diaphragm, or use a link to wiktionary. In fact, should linking to wiktionary be a standard way to clear up some of the links to dab pages? Carcharoth 14:28, 18 May 2006 (UTC)

Oops. Had a closer look. One was a redirect to diaphragm (optics), but it's not so easy to decide what to do with Shear_wall, William_Robert_Grove, and Bryozoa. Carcharoth 15:59, 18 May 2006 (UTC)

Newbie User:Bestvnteas somehow ended up with a redirect to Types_of_Wheats_and_Its_Flours in the user and talk pages, resulting in people making edits to Talk:Types_of_Wheats_and_Its_Flours by mistake. I copied the user talk text into the correct place and removed the redirects but there's still a bit of a mess - I don't know if the talk page should be moved or deleted (can it be moved without taking the article with it?)

Why are you trying to delete my page. All it is, is about all the Doctor Who stories that go in order. The other people who are involved in other Doctor Who related articles allowed me to do this so don't think about getting it deleted. VitasV 28/7/2007
