[edit] Copyright concerns
Greetings James, and thanks for adding the article on Martha Strongin Katz. You did a great job of wikifying the text, but it is still very close to the source, to the extent that it might be a copyright violation. In future, you might want to be mindful that many great articles get deleted on this ground under the criteria for speedy deletion. Just a heads-up, Skomorokh 22:09, 31 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Linking to your own blog
Hello. I add my welcome to other contributors' above. I am always pleased to see anyone editing the classical music sections.
I thought I'd perhaps better let you know why I removed the link to your blog, which you added to two composer articles. My feeling is that the citation, while an interesting personal reflection, does not really increase the verifiability of either article, because it is not an authoritative source about either composer. You may also like to know that citing yourself is specifically listed as a bad idea in the conflict of interest guidelines. I hope you will continue to contribute to Wikipedia. Very best wishes, RobertG ♬ talk 10:16, 1 April 2008 (UTC)
