[edit] Gatman and Robbin'
Hello and welcome to Wikipedia! I have redirected your articles this song by 50 Cent to the specific album pages. This is based on the fact that they do not meet criteria suggested at Wikipedia:WikiProject Music/Notability and Music Guidelines/Songs. If you have any questions about notability, feel free to ask. Cheers! -- MOE.RON talk | done | doing 04:05, 17 June 2006 (UTC)
- In accordance with the above note, I have made your article on Git Up a redirect to D12 World. --Fuhghettaboutit 04:23, 22 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Your Recent Edits
Please read this. It details why the articles on song's you've created will most probably have to be deleted! You've been informed of this once, I implore you to read the guideline this time! HawkerTyphoon 03:07, 3 August 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks for answering me, first of all, Wikipedia has a hell of a lot of guidelines and it can be tricky to work out what's what. I see your point, and I'll have a look at those articles if you want, to see if they meet WP:MUSIC. If they don't, they'll be redirected to the band or album name sharpish! You're right, it's not fair that some songs aren't notable, but get articles; and others aren't, but don't. I'll see what I can do, in the meantime, try and add what you've written about the songs to the appropriate album articles, you've written some good stuff! HawkerTyphoon 03:24, 3 August 2006 (UTC)
Woaaaah! Slow down. A lot of the edits you're making [1] [2] violate Wikipedia polcies, and mess up links. As a rule, don't remove merge notices from pages, and don't insert foriegn characters into links. HawkerTyphoon 01:16, 25 August 2006 (UTC)
Please stop creating articles on every cut on an album. If the song was released as a single, then it might make it, but every cut won't survive. User:Zoe|(talk) 21:14, 14 October 2006 (UTC)
Please see Wikipedia talk:Notability (songs). User:Zoe|(talk) 21:19, 14 October 2006 (UTC)
You are not listening. I have asked you politely, as have other editors, but you continue to add these non-notable songs. Please stop. User:Zoe|(talk) 21:29, 14 October 2006 (UTC)
a lot of non-notable songs on your site
- Noting that there are other articles just as bad is not a valid argument for keeping your bad article. User:Zoe|(talk) 21:35, 14 October 2006 (UTC)
You cannot interpret the meanings of songs. That is original research, which is forbidden on Wikipedia. And you still have not explained why the songs are notable. Notability guidelines need to be followed, or the articles will be deleted. User:Zoe|(talk) 21:43, 14 October 2006 (UTC)
I already told you that you can't argue that your bad articles should be allowed to be kept because there are other bad articles. User:Zoe|(talk) 20:37, 15 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Edit summaries
Please, write edit summaries for the edits that you make. This will help other editors to understand why you make the changes that you do. I got all the way through reverting your edits to various albums before I realized that you removed linkage to songs because they were circular (you did make some typos while doing so, but the way, but I fixed them for you while reverting them back to your versions). Thank you for your contirbutions, and happy editing! -Harmil 01:28, 15 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] AMG "Album Picks"
Hi, I noticed you've added "Album Pick" next to some AMG rankings. This is kind of a meaningless indication and does not reflect album quality in any way (even by AMG's own admission). Per WP:ALBUM, we don't indicate it. Torc2 (talk) 00:44, 24 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Girls (D12 song)
Another editor has added the {{prod}}
template to the article Girls (D12 song), suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the editor doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia or discuss the relevant issues at its talk page. If you remove the {{prod}}
template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. BJBot (talk) 19:00, 22 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] AfD nomination of We All Die One Day
I have nominated We All Die One Day, an article you created, for deletion. I do not feel that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/We All Die One Day. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.
