[edit] Antarctic Treaty

Now, first of all, Side 6 actually got connections with both EF and Zeon, and both of their forces got bases inside Side 6 different colonies. Secondly, the colony asked for help from the Gray Phantom, because it is the nearest EFSF ship nearby, if you got attacked by Zeon, you'd figure it is pretty much useless to ask for help from the nearby Zeon ships, no? This is different from the WB case, where the Side 6 government did not ask for their help. Thirdly, the Zeon actually attacked the colony before Rubicon operation(which causes the crash of Bernie) as basic training(which makes Bernie a newbie who lost a Mobile Suit the first time he ever piloted one out for mission). All of these are from Gundam Officials, and thus should answer your questions. It is a very complicated situation in Side 6, they simply made use of their neutrality to do a lot of things that help/hurt both sides. And as long as they still have their own neutrality(even though protected by both forces when needed), they would welcome other military actions like developing MS within their border since they can somehow make a living off it. [edit] Bootlegging doesn't redirect to Rum-running...

...but Bootlegger does. If you've interest in the Bootleg article (why I assume you made your edit to Rum-running,) you may want to change that redirect. Just a thought passing through.  :) LaughingVulcan 02:44, 26 June 2007 (UTC)

Good call. Thanks. :D James Callahan 14:53, 26 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Your edit to List of handgun cartridges

Please stop introducing jokes into articles, such as those you created at List of handgun cartridges. Wikipedia is a serious encyclopedia, and contributions of this type are considered vandalism. Continuing to add jokes and other disruptive content into articles may lead to you being blocked from editing. Wjw0111 (talk) 07:01, 15 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Your comment on my talk page

My warning was not mindless. You (or someone who has access to your account) DID vandalize. You had been warned by another user, Greswick, using Template:Uw-joke2. As this was another edit of the same nature, I warned you again using Template:Uw-joke3.

Please review WP: Vandalism if you are unclear of the policies. If this wasn't you that made the edits, please consider a stronger password, or to not share it with anyone, as I see that you have been blocked in the past for edits that you claimed were not you. For your information, I did check your user contributions (as I always do, to ensure that you have not vandalized any other articles), it is not my responsibility to ask myself why you would vandalize, just telling you to stop.

Your account edited List of handgun cartridges to include a joke. That is why you were warned given the next highest warning, after you were already warned using Template:Uw-joke2 Please consider looking into matters regarding the use of your account on your own before mindlessly writing on my talk page. Thank you. Wjw0111 (talk) 00:36, 16 April 2008 (UTC)

Also, to add a quick note: This edit was the reason for my warning. Looks to me like someone adding a joke to Wikipedia after already being warned for that exact issue. Wjw0111 (talk) 00:49, 16 April 2008 (UTC)
Attempting to fire batteries is NOT a joke or a laughing matter. There are chambers that different types of batteries fit almost perfectly into. Some kid could see that picture and try to shove a battery into the .44 Magnum his dad might have lying around. Then the battery would explode, the acid would get all over the chamber, and either get all over someone's hands or corrode at one of the cartridges already chambered, causing a misfire or possibly the whole gun to blow up when fired. I know it sounds like a joke and I appreciate your concern, but attempting to fire a battery in a gun poses a significant safety hazard that I felt had to be addressed at the display of a battery lined up with other cartridges. Safety concern should never be considered or confused with vandalism, because safety is serious business.
I do not have a history of joke edits. I made one joke edit five months ago when I was drunk, and didn't even remember it in the morning. For comparison, I have been a member of this community since my first edit in December of 2006. One joke edit when I was drunk does not constitute a history of joke edits, and the edit I made the other day does not constitute a joke edit. Please rescind your warning at your earliest convenience. Thank you. James Callahan (talk) 02:14, 16 April 2008 (UTC)
You clearly are not taking this seriously. Please treat Wikipedia seriously. Thank you. Wjw0111 (talk) 02:28, 16 April 2008 (UTC)
Exactly how seriously do you expect me to take someone when they're getting so pissed off over a five-word edit I made with the intention of preventing harm to someone? My patience is running dangerously thin. Your refusal to admit that you made a perfectly understandable mistake does not mix well with your refusal to accept that it's possible for people to think differently than yourself. I find your objection to my edit offensive and pig-headed. I asked you politely to rescind your warning, but I am afraid that if you do not, I will have to complain to a higher moderator. Please get off your high horse and stop dismissing my well-intentioned edit as vandalism. James Callahan (talk) 03:40, 16 April 2008 (UTC)
Despite the intent of the edit, it was improper for an Encyclopedia, I am unsure why you are so bent out of shape over a warning. Take it at its value and try to improve. Please do not refer to my objections as 'pig-headed' as it violates WP:Civil. I am not going to rescind my warning as I feel it is valid. I have already requested Editor assistance on this matter as per WP:Dispute Resolution If this does not resolve the dispute we will, of course, escalate as per the Dispute resolution process. Wjw0111 (talk) 04:00, 16 April 2008 (UTC)
As well, just to clarify this. Is it simply the warning you are upset about, or do you legitimately wish to have the Battery warning on the List of handgun cartridges article? Remember that you can remove warnings and comments from your talk page. If you do wish to have it included in the article please raise it on the articles talk page and we can discuss with other editors its inclusion. Thank you Wjw0111 (talk) 04:30, 16 April 2008 (UTC)
