[edit] re: Thanks

Hi, James, you're very welcome. I agree, Private (novel series) has already improved, so great work so far. I hope to see it listed at GAN in the future, although I hope someone new will take it on so you can get a second, impartial opinion. Three heads are better than two. :) Take care, MarĂa (habla conmigo) 17:03, 10 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Re: Thanks for your review of 'Private'

(copied from my talk page:) No problem, and thanks for the message. I wish you well, even though I do think that the renomination was a little too soon. Good luck! --jbmurray (talk|contribs) 18:52, 14 April 2008 (UTC)

(copied from my talk page:) No, I understand, nobody likes their nomination to be failed when they've put the work in. But you'll also understand that I compared the article to the GA criteria (as I understand them), not to other similar articles. Perhaps we should do a reassessment of Gossip Girl and The Clique series? Anyhow, I've responded at the reassessment page for this article, and I hope that my more specific remarks are of some use. Again, it's not that I'm trying to defend my review, but rather to explain it. --jbmurray (talk|contribs) 19:16, 14 April 2008 (UTC)
(copied from my talk page:) Oh, and I just looked at those two examples... I'd thought you'd meant to say that they were already Good Articles. Obviously, they're not, and in fact both have prominent clean-up templates. It's probably better to compare with articles that have passed this hurdle. A Series of Unfortunate Events, for instance. --jbmurray (talk|contribs) 19:22, 14 April 2008 (UTC)

I am no expert in fair-use but, I think the rationale is ok. Zginder 2008-05-06T12:21Z (UTC)
