The Right Honourable Gustavus Baines (born 25 October 1960) is a Britannican politician and was Prime Minister of Britannica from 1998–2000.

Gustavus Baines was born teh son of Charlie Baines, a newspaper editor, and Audrey Morrace. In 1978 he started a course in law at university, which he finished early in 1982. He worked as junior lawyer until 1985.

In 1985, he was selected as a candidate for North St. George Greens, which he won in the general election that year.
He immediately was made Royalist Spokesman on Home Affairs, and caused controversy in 1986 when he claimed that "Labour is criminal, the Tories' weakness is criminal". In later 1986 he was appointed Shadow Constitutional Secretary, where he developed even more radical Royalist policies. In
