[edit] Lost in the Desert: uncertainty and incomplete data about date.

In the list of Uys' films, Lost in the Desert was dated 1971 until just now; but this appears to be incorrect, and I have changed it to fit with the incomplete information I have about the date of this film.

Information about this now very obscure film is quite hard to come by; but, as far as I can make out, the Afrikaans version was titled "Dirkie" and came out in 1969, and the English version was titled either "Dirkie Lost in the Desert" or "Lost in the Desert" and came out at least in Australia in 1970; so far, however, I've not been able to find out what year it came out in English in countries other than Australia.

I will update the article further if I find out; but I also request anyone who has definite information to supply it, please. I've created an article on "Lost in the Desert", a film I remember fondly from my childhood and have an interest in. M.J.E. 10:20, 27 October 2007 (UTC)
