[edit] Return to Stockport County another loan?

According to the BBC's web site (Hatters to re-sign Liverpool man), James Smith's return to Stockport County is another loan.

The article as it currently stands has been edited to make that move appear permanent. Furthermore, because of the way that it's been edited, it currently reads as though Smith was a product of Stockport's Academy when that was not the case.

Additionally, for no apparent reason, the player's career statistics table has been removed.

Hopefully, the loan/transfer debate can be safely settled by an immenent confirmation one way or the other from Liverpool's official website but it's the BBC's loan story that I believe is preferential for now.

If it's not been done by the time I next have an opportunity to check this page then I'll make the necessary edits myself. (It's almost 4.00am as I type this, and I don't trust myself to not make a complete mess of it right now.) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Wiakywbfatw (talkcontribs) 03:36, 29 December 2007 (UTC)

Amended this entry to reflect permanent move as noted on official Liverpool F.C. website this morning. Steve-Ho (talk) 11:13, 29 December 2007 (UTC)
