Talk:James Kirk (actor)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Does anyone know if James Kirk (actor) was named because his parents were Trekkers, and liked the James T. Kirk? Does anyone know James Kirk (actor)'s middle name? McKay 06:20, 10 March 2006 (UTC)
"James Kirk (born May 2, 1986 in Vancouver, British Columbia) is a Canadian actor that has achieved Warp 5"? Funny, but not appropriate. Also edited his filmography, which still had "She's the Man" listed as post-production. Ambientlight 00:16, 30 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] A Time to Remember
Just to start off, I came here from the Recent Edits page and know virtually nothing about this person.
I noticed that someone had added A Time to Remember to the Filmography section, and I was about to leave it alone when I realized it was already there, with a different date. I started researching to try to figure out which was correct so I could fix it, and discovered that this was not a movie, rather it was a stage appearance, and he seems to have played the same roll in two different productions. Looking at the official website under the external links section, it seems he has a nuber of stage appearances. These should not be listed under "Filmography". If someone who knows more about the man would kindly move them to their own section, or perhaps re-name the Filmograpy section to something like, "Stage and Screen Appearances", it would make the article more accurate and helpful for people who would like to know more about him. Of course he is. Didn't you see Star Trek: Generations? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.104.144.76 (talk) 04:33, 11 December 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Ti4u jk x211.jpg
Image:Ti4u jk x211.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
