Talk:James Farley
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
As a minor anecdote which I would not add without approval: In the science fiction book Double Star which is about fighting a system wide election Robert Heinlein, who knew electoral politics, refered to Farley as the greatest political manager & the inventor of the Farleyfile - a system of recording every piece of personal information that a leader had been told by every individual he had met. This allows the leader, with a little reminding, to have a personal chat with people to whom his opinion is important but whom he would not normally remember.
