[edit] Weasel words

Others held at the time said they were "beaten, hung upside down and struck repeatedly with sticks, rubber hoses and cables." Some alleged they were "immersed in cold water, made to lie in the snow, or subjected to electric shocks."

Who says this?

[edit] merge

Craig Pyes, one of the authors of the original LA Times article says his name is "Jamal Nasser", not "Jamal Naseer". I started an article under the other name tonight, not realizing this article existed.

I've merged that with this article.

I am going to request this article be renamed "Jamal Nasser".
