The Ghizali family is famous for its modern lifestyle with traditional honour and nobility. Royal family is famous for their business and education. The royal family also runs Gold,software and textile business in the city and also has strong political influence.
Jampur is becoming the "Information technology Hub" in the southern Punjab,it has a very big computer market and majority of people including male and female are computer literate.The city is also famous for its beautiful engraved wooden work. Local language of Jampur was Seraiki, which is now becoming extinct because new generations prefer to talk in Urdu, English or in a mixture of Urdu and English called "Urduish".
Jampur is a small,beautiful and clean city.people are very cooperative,peaceful and friendly.Jampur has very nice environment.Nowadays Jampur is progressing by leaps & bounds.Jampur is well developed city with Highly Equipped Hospitals,Banks,Schools, and mobile/Telephone System. The city is connected by internet to the whole world.The city is decorated by two parks.

Jampur is rather sparingly populated and has little industry, though the land is very fertile. There is a Tehsil headquarter hospital and basic governmental and educational institutions. One of its most famous educational institutions is the Govt. Boys High School,Jampur. Sir, Abdul Salam Shaikh, a well known English teacher, spend his precious 38 years educating the people of Jampur. half of the population of Jampur is disciple of Sir Abdul Salam Shaikh. he Spent his midnight oil to groom the people of jampur at educational stage and give them courage to stand honourably among other nearby cities of the area. which was founded in 1935, as a consequence of the introduction of the British Government system in 1857. Govt. High School is one of the reforms brought on by the British Government.
