Jamie Williams (born February 25, 1960 in Vero Beach, Florida) is a former professional American football player who played tight end for twelve seasons in the NFL, mainly for the Houston Oilers and the San Francisco 49ers. He lives in Foster City, California with his wife, Charlotte, and two kids: son, Evan, and daughter, Raven. He has also appeared on KTVU news as a sports analyst on several occasions. Jamie appeared in the movie Any Given Sunday, which he wrote the screenplay for. He currently is the Founder, President, and CEO of the Bay Area movie production company Y Motion Media. While in high school, Jamie played football, basketball, and track, being named a McDonald's All-American in basketball. Nebraska was the only college to offer him a scholarship for both football and basketball, and he therefore accepted, continuing on to play 4 years of both sports at Nebraska. He coached his son's elementary school basketball team at Trinity School in Menlo Park, California for the 2001-2002, 2002-2003, and 2003-2004 seasons, leading them to a second-place finish in the San Mateo County (California) championships.
