Jamie Paterson is one of the Maritime region's most popular radio personalities and is known for his "theatre of the mind" broadcast style. While hosting the morning show on Q104 RADIO in 1999, Paterson received international attention when a Groundhog Day "prank" created panic in the city and overloaded phone lines.

Jamie was born in Edmonton, Alberta to John & Barbara Paterson. He has worked as a stand-up comedian, an improvisational actor, and at various time slots on radio stations across Canada.

Jamie currently hosts the Afternoon Drive program on CKUL-FM RADIO in Halifax, Nova Scotia and hosts BeatleBrunch, a weekly feature spotlighting the Fab Four heard around the world. He also writes "The Buzz", a weekly column for the Halifax Daily News.

Jamie is married to fellow broadcaster Lisa Blackburn and lives with his daughter Heather and stepdaughter Bronwyn.
