Jamie Murphy (born 28 August 1989, Glasgow) is a Scottish professional footballer currently playing for Scottish Premier League club Motherwell. He has been touted as one of Scotlands next big talents and has been compared to James McFadden who also graduated from the youth setup at fir park. He has been prolific in the under 19's and reserves and netted his first senior goal of his career against Hibernian F.C on the final day of the 2007/08 season.
