Jamie Langenbrunner (born 24 July 1975 in Cloquet, Minnesota) is an American ice hockey winger who currently plays for and captains the New Jersey Devils of the National Hockey League.

Langenbrunner was drafted out of Cloquet Senior high school 35th overall in the 1993 NHL Entry Draft by the Dallas Stars. He would then play his next two seasons with the Peterborough Petes of the OHL, scoring 75 goals and 115 assists for 190 points in only 124 games. In that second year he also made his NHL debut with Dallas. He did not become a regular with Dallas until the 1996–97 season when he played 76 games and scored 39 points. The next year, Langenbrunner represented his country at the 1998 Winter Olympics, but the Americans fell short of winning a medal. However in 1999, Langenbrunner had a good year in the playoffs, scoring 10 goals and 17 points and winning his first Stanley Cup with Dallas.

On 19 March 2002, Langenbrunner was traded with Joe Nieuwendyk to the New Jersey Devils for Jason Arnott, Randy McKay, and a draft pick. The next season in 2002–03, Langenbrunner had a career year, scoring 22 goals and 33 assists for 55 points in 78 games for New Jersey. He continued his scoring numbers in the playoffs, leading the league in goals (11) and points (18) en route to his second Stanley Cup.

Langenbrunner has played 577 regular season games in the NHL, scoring 125 goals and 197 assists for 322 points. In 103 playoff games, he has scored 26 goals and 31 assists for 57 points, with the majority of those coming in his two Stanley Cup-winning seasons.

On 1 July 2006, Langenbrunner re-signed with the New Jersey Devils. He signed a five year, $14 million contract. Langenbrunner will earn around $2.8 million per year.

He currently plays right wing on the Devils' first line. He plays alongside Patrik Elias and Zach Parise.

He is also known for his impressive post-season performances, the most recent being the second overtime goal against the Ottawa Senators in the second round of the 2007 Playoff Series. It was his 5th game winning goal and his 4th career playoff overtime goal.

While with the Devils, Langenbrunner has been a resident of North Caldwell, New Jersey.[1]

On December 5, 2007, Langenbrunner was named captain of the New Jersey Devils.
