Jamie Hooper is one of two lead vocalists in the Canadian heavy metal band 3 Inches of Blood. He performs the band's harsher, guttural vocals. Along with co-vocalist Cam Pipes, Hooper is the only member of 3 Inches of Blood to have featured on all of their albums to date, and is also the only actual founding member left in the band.
During the 2007 Ozzfest Tour, Jamie Hooper was unable to sing with the band as he was experiencing throat problems, and was warned by doctors that he may damage his voice permanently if he did not rest it. He did not perform on the Ozzfest tour nor the Operation Annihilation tour. The screamed vocals were (and continue to be) performed by guitarist Justin Hagberg. Jamie Hooper will not perform with the band for the whole 2007-08 year.
Jamie grew up on the shores of Sinkut Lake, near Vanderhoof, BC.
