Jamie Hamill (born 29 July 1986, in Irvine, Scotland), is a Scottish footballer, currently playing for Scottish Premier League club Kilmarnock.
[edit] Career
Jamie made his senior debut towards the end of the 2006/2007 season in a 1-0 defeat to Hearts[1]. Jamie won the Fan's Man of the Match award for the game. He later appeared as a starter in one more game in that season and two substitute appearances followed. At the start of the 2007/2008 season his hard work over the summer was rewarded with a start against Celtic[2]. Despite being up against noted Scottish International Scott Brown he put in a Man of the Match performance in Midfield to ensure Kilmarnock held the hosts to a 0-0 draw in what was Kilmarnock's first point at Parkhead in over 9 years.
Jamie has established himself as an important player in the Kilmarnock setup, confirming this with his first goal for the club in a Scottish Cup game against Airdrie.[3] He quickly followed this up with his second goal in the competition against Celtic in a defeat in the next round.
