Jamie Clarke (born 18 September 1982 in Sunderland) is an English professional footballer who plays as a defender for Grimsby Town.

Clarke joined Grimsby from Boston in 2007 , He started his professional career at Mansfield in 2001 before joining Rochdale in 2004.

Grimsby signed him as a right back but after a series of below par displays in pre-season, manager Alan Buckley looks to have decided to use Clarke mainly in midfield.
