Jamestown Middle School

Jamestown Middle School is currently the largest middle school in the Guilford County Schools system in North Carolina. The current head principle of Jamestown Middle School is Dr. Denise Richmond. The school currently has a student population of over 1200 students. Just a few years ago Jamestown Middle School added a 48,000 square foot addition done by the Adams Group Architects to help handle the overcrowding. Currently the school is awaiting the next bond project and is supposed to have a replacement school built soon. Overcrowding problems are evident at Jamestown Middle School.

The school mascot is the tiger. The rival of Jamestown Middle School is Southwest Middle School. School sports include Soccer, Track, Basketball, Football, Baseball, Softball, Golf, Wrestling, and Volleyball. Jamestown Middle due to its size holds many conference titles.

Jamestown Middle School draws from Jamestown Elementary, Pilot Elementary, Millis Road Elementary, and Union Hill Elementary. Jamestown Middle School then feeds into Ragsdale High School
