The Jamestown Jets are a junior "A" ice hockey team intending to play in the new United Junior Hockey League in 2008. They will play their games at the Jamestown Savings Bank Ice Arena in Jamestown, New York.
The team was announced in March 2008 after the Jamestown Vikings were kicked out of the arena due to financial and behavior problems.[1] The team's name comes from the Winnipeg Jets and was chosen by a fan.[2]
