James Warren (actor)

James Warren (February 24, 1913 – March 28, 2001) was an American film actor and artist.
Born in Marietta, Ohio, he worked as a magazine illustrator in New York City. It was at this time that an MGM talent scout saw him and offered him a contract. He appeared in many B-movie Westerns during the 1940s.
After retiring from acting in the early 1950s, he devoted his time to painting. He died, aged 88, in Kihei, Hawaii.
