James Walker (born 15 January 1979) is an Australian rules footballer in the Australian Football League, played for the Fremantle Football Club. He played as a midfielder or defender.He was delisted on 23 October 2007
Walker was drafted from with the 6th selection in the 1997 National Draft and made his AFL debut against Essendon at Subiaco Oval in Round 19, 1998. He has since played over 100 games for Fremantle.
When not selected for the Fremantle side, he plays for the Peel Thunder in the WAFL.
He won the AFL Grand Final Sprint two years running and is noted as one of the fastest players in the AFL.
