[edit] Biography
Villanueva was born in Singapore and received three Ph. D's, one in Psycholinguistics, one in English Language and one in Creative Writing/Humanities from the unaccredited Pacific Western University in the United States.
After he received his Masters, James Villanueva taught for the Education Department of Singapore, where he later became a principal. After serving in the Malayan Royal Naval Reserve, he worked as the Director of Language Studies for the Adult Education Board (1969-1975) and later as a senior lecturer in the English Department of the National University of Singapore (1976-1983).
Villanueva's book The Visage of Terrorism—The Hounds of Hell[1] presents the idea of terrorism as the worst form of barbarism by military and quasi-military leaders, providing a landscape in which readers can see the best and worst of which man is capable.
Villanueva has brought together a wide range of frightening scenarios and gripping plot twists which put life as it is presently viewed into perspective and explore the ideas of extreme radicalism and intolerance of freedom.
