James Vanderbilt

James P. Vanderbilt (1976-) is an American screenwriter. He is a son of Alfred Gwynne Vanderbilt III (born 1949). His most recent film Zodiac was nominated for Best Adapted Screenplay by the Chicago Film Critics Association, the Satellite Awards, and the Writers Guild of America. Vanderbilt graduated from the University of Southern California School of Cinematic Arts.
He is a member of the notable Vanderbilt Family of New York.
He graduated from St. Paul's School in Concord, NH in 1994
