James Tyler (music)

James Tyler at the University of Southern California is a pioneer^{[citation needed]} in the modern revival of early plucked instruments such as guitar, lute, cittern and bandora.

At the beginning of his career he was an active performer in the London early music scene being a member of David Munrow's, Julian Bream's and other consorts. He has published extensive academic research about the plucked instruments and their music.
