James Tunnicliffe (born 17 January 1989 in Denton, Tameside) is an English footballer. He plays as a centre-half for Stockport County,

Tunicliffe progressed through Stockport Countys' Centre of Excellence youth system. He made his debut as a substitute in a 2-0 defeat at Notts County in 2005. He had a trial at Liverpool in October 2005.[1]
