James Tomlin

James William Tomlin (born August 12, 1982 in Los Angeles, California) is an outfielder in Minor League Baseball who plays for the Jacksonville Suns in the Double-A Southern League.

He was drafted by the Minnesota Twins in the 7th round of the 2000 MLB Draft out of St. Bernard High School in Playa del Rey, Los Angeles, California. Made his professional debut with the Gulf Coast Twins in 2000 and then won Appalachian League All-Star honors with the Elizabethton Twins in 2001, when he hit .300 in 63 games.

Went on to play for the Quad City River Bandits (2002), Fort Myers Miracle (2003) and New Britain Rock Cats (2004-2005). Signed by the Kansas City Royals as a minor league free agent prior to the 2006 season, played for the High Desert Mavericks.

In 2007 he joined the Los Angeles Dodgers organization and played for the Inland Empire 66ers and the Jacksonville Suns.
