James Scott (8 March 1876 – 30 October 1939) was a Scottish Liberal Party politician.
He was Member of Parliament for Kincardine and Aberdeenshire West from 1929 to 1931.
He had previously contested Moray and Nairn at the 1922 general election and Renfrewshire West at the 1923 general election
