James Pritchard, (born 1961-04-27 in Louisville, KY), is heavyweight professional boxer.

Pritchard had a stellar amateur career, becoming the 1985 National Golden Gloves Super Heavyweight Champion.

Pritchard turned pro in 1985 and was undefeated in his first 17 bouts, including a draw with Mike Hunter, before losing to Mike Weaver by TKO in 1987. He quicly was relegated to journeyman status and went on to lose to contenders and future champions Michael Dokes, Pierre Coetzer, James Warring, Orlin Norris, Tim Witherspoon, Herbie Hide, Michael Moorer, and Wladimir Klitschko. He retired in 1997 after TKO loss to Darroll Wilson. [1]
